Unlocking Longevity with IKIGAI: A Journey into Purposeful Living and Healthy Aging

A Book Review

By Naisha Rastogi

Brief Summary: This book contains multiple interviews with supercentenarian and centenarian to know their lifestyle and how they have lived a long and happy life. This book also discusses the differences between Psychoanalysis and Logotherapy. The book also discusses Morita therapy. Morita therapy has proved to be effective in the treatment of neurosis, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post traumatic stress. Another secret to living a long life is keeping your stomach 80 percent full. The Okiniwa's diet is about eating a variety of foods especially vegetables. A study of Okinawa's centenarians showed that they ate 206 different foods, including spices on a regular basis. I recommend this book because it teaches a lot of things that everyone should know and implement in life.

My Thoughts: This book is really useful for finding your purpose and refining your lifestyle to make it healthier. This book also has many studies and interviews which help us understand how to live a long, healthy and happy life.

Review: Overall, for me this book is 4.5 stars. It really helped me gain insight on how to live a long, happy and healthy. I also really like the 4 criterions to find the ultimate purpose and what you can make a life out of while being happy.
